Project

Project must include the following:

• 2D & 3D Design
• 3D printed component
• Laser cut component
  • each group given 800mm x 600mm acrylic/plywood, 3mm thickness (to check)
  • thick rubberband(s), thin rubberband(s)
  • glue gun with glue stick (try to minimize use of this)
    

Other instructions:

• 3D printed & laser cut parts must be an integral part of your project
• Design a 1-page poster (1920x1080 pixel) for your project
• students to be divided into groups of 3 for the project
  

Project must be based on one (or more) of the following themes:

• Medieval Weapons (e.g. Trebuchet, Ballista)
• Automata (e.g. geared clock, water wheel, kinetic sculpture)
