assignment

• review the safety data sheets for each of your molding and casting materials
• design a mold around the stock and tooling that you’ll be using,
• mill it (rough cut + (at least) three-axis finish cut),
• and use it to cast parts

Note:

• When generating gcode (post process) for the Stepcraft CNC using Fusion 360, select WinCNC as the post processor. DO NOT use Mach3 as the post processor.
• Alternatively, you can install the Stepcraft-UCCNC post processor for Fusion 360.
  • Download the Stepcraft-UCCNC post processor from the Fusion 360 Post Library
  • Unzip the stepcraft uccnc.cps file to your Fusion 360 CAM post processor folder
  • Installing personal post processor in Fusion 360
